challenge of the week: cancer suppression.

We all have cancerous cells in our body. Yep, you too! So having the tools to stop cancer from spreading throughout your body (metastasis) seems pretty beneficial, right? Well, check this out! Last week, a new study revealed an epigenetic effect on metastasis suppressing genes (i.e. turning the genes on or off) from various substances that we all have access to – right in our own kitchen. How cool is that? Take a look at which substances they found to affect metastasis suppression below. Should you accept, your challenge this week will be to incorporate these into your diet regularly… and enjoy!

*Note: whenever possible (especially with meat/eggs), consume 100% organic and local.

What do you know about Moringa? It has a lot of amino acids. I just purchased some.

it looks good, but i don’t know much about it. i did read that it might affect hormones (but i don’ t know this for certain) and also that it could change blood sugar levels (mostly in a positive way), so if you are experiencing diabetic symptoms that is something to be aware of. keep us posted on how you like it! :)
